Building a Tower

BuidingaTower

Jan 2016-Mar 2017 | Inquiry Based Linear Algebra Honors II @UCSB

Out of four projects I worked on in Inquiry Based Linear Algebra Honors I and II, the most memorable one is analyzing stability of building structures using differential equations and understanding Eiffel Tower property, done in a group of two, under Professor Stefan Paul. I derived the equation determining the stable tower shape in three dimensional space.

Calculus of Finite Differences

Jul 2015–Aug 2015 | @PROMYS

"Calculus of Finite Differences" was written in a group of four under Ben Bruce, and I focused on finding patterns of coefficients for delta function of an all-one-polynomial using Pascal's triangle.

Math In Seoul

MathInSeoul

2012 | Independent Project

"Math In Seoul" analyzes Seoul mathematically, calculating the most efficient length of eaves, finding ages of different districts, and exploring different definitions of age, finding the depth of the lowest place in Seoul, etc. This is an independent project I did in middle school but I still think it is fun and shows what interests me!
